wwbrands.jpgThe WorldWide Brands database is a fantastic membership only resource for people who are searching for products to sell for profit over the internet.

What You’ll Get

For a one time fee of $299, you become a member with lifetime access to WorldWide Brands database which includes over 8000 premium drop shippers and wholesale suppliers with access to over 8 million products.  The user will also have access to instant market and pricing research which is to be used to confirm the profitability of the products he has already researched.

And this is where many consumers who have purchased the WorldWide Brands program fail.

The program is designed to alleviate the frustration and wasted time associated with the typical trial and error method of coordinating drop shipper and wholesale companies to do business with.   WorldWide Brands provides lists of reputable wholesale drop shippers and wholesalers whom you would then contact to form a business relationship.  The process from there is between you and the drop shipper or wholesaler.  WorldWide Brands makes no claims regarding the policies of their listed companies other than the fact that the drop shippers and wholesalers listed work with small businesses.  They can’t make any other promises.  The companies listed are independent companies.  What WorldWide Brands does do is save you countless hours of aggravation in dealing with unreliable or fraudulent drop ship companies, or product supplier that only sell in bulk quantities, and there are plenty of these companies out there to keep you busy.

WorldWide Brands’s primary focus is to provide these lists to its members.  Another benefit they have added to their program, likely in response to oceans of complaints that the drop shippers do not stock the most popular brands, is education and business advice regarding conducting market research to determine the most profitable products to resell.  Note that this is an add-on feature to WorldWide Brands’s original marketing plan, and not the primary function of the company.  Therefore, we highly recommend that the purchaser of the WorldWide Brands program also invest in other in-depth training programs that will explain the background rationale for decision making in product selection.

WorldWide Brands accurately claims  that their drop shippers and wholesalers provide products that provide the most profit.   The large name brands will not work with small scale retailers, therefore they are not on WorldWide Brands’s lists.  It is up to the user to do the research and make the selection of which products he wants to list for sale, either through websites like Ebay or through his own website.  When the purchaser of the WorldWide Brands program receives an order for one of his products, he contacts the drop shipper of his choice from the WorldWide Brands list, the drop shipper will then package and ship the product to the user’s customer from the DS warehouse, only charging the user of the WorldWide Brands system the wholesale price for the product.

Potential Drawbacks

WorldWide Brands does not provide instruction on setting up websites or nor does it teach users how to create listings that will bring your ad to the top of a general search request.  While this is not a fault with the product, since WorldWide Brands does not claim to be this type of product, nonetheless many consumers’ complaints have arisen regarding WorldWide Brands which are based on disappointments resulting from poor sales or lack of brand names on the drop shippers’ product lists.

The Recommendation

For the user who understands what service he is actually purchasing, WorldWide Brands is very good at what they do, delivering on what they promise to consumers and is, therefore, highly recommended.

Super Affiliate Handbook Reviewed

Rating: stars-4-0.gif(For the novice to intermediate affiliate marketer)
Website Reviewed: Super Affiliate Handbook

superaffiliatehandbook.jpgPerhaps the most refreshing thing about visiting the Super Affiliate Handbook website is in it’s plain language delivery by Rosalind Gardner.  Obviously a master at marketing through and through, Ms. Gardner immediately has our attention by declaring that she has made her fortune with no business experience whatsoever.  We are all used to these types of catch lines, but this entire site is comprised of simple explanations and honest testimonials that don’t intimidate those new to the program with technical jargon and don’t dissuade the skeptical with lots of short phrases and exclamation points.

What You’ll Get

For a fee of $47, the purchaser of the Super Affiliate Handbook will receive a downloadable version of the program via internet, future program updates, members only discounts on telephone consultation services and access to the Super Affiliate Handbook companion website and blog.  In addition, the program comes with an 80 day money back guarantee, if not completely satisfied.

Rosalind Gardner, a former air traffic controller, starts at the very beginning with the basics of an online business and affiliate marketing.  She explains all industry terms in depth, and gives reasons behind the information she provides, giving the reader the ability to take her knowledge and apply it in areas that she does not cover in her program.  This is invaluable, and not done often enough in affiliate marketer tutorials.

The Super Affilliate Handbook focuses heavily on researching internet products for effectiveness and profitability before becoming an affiliate marketer.  Rosalind Gardner believes strongly in promoting products that you believe in.  While many affiliate marketers are not so emotionally selective in their online product choices, there are still enormously useful research tools in her descriptions that will translate into profit dollars for the affiliate marketer who uses the techniques.

Lessons in the Super Affilliate Handbook are constructed in simple step by step instructional formats, and include explanations of all industry terms.   Rosalind Gardner also points out the pitfalls of the industry to avoid wasting time and money.

Potential Drawbacks

While simplification of all other aspects of the program are advantageous, where simplicity is a disadvantage is in the section of the Super Affilliate Handbook regarding promotion.  Traffic generation is obviously the backbone of any affiliate marketing plan, and this topic is sorely thin in this tutorial, which is surprising considering the extensive descriptions, background information and reasoning provided on all other topics.   This chapter leaves the student with only cursory knowledge of promotion, and no basic knowledge with which to develop his own promotion and traffic generation plan.  Keep in mind that there is telephone consultation available to all Handbook owners, but at an hourly fee.

The Recommendation

Overall the Super Affilliate Handbook is an excellent resource for the novice to intermediate affiliate marketer, providing in depth knowledge of not only “how” but also “why” in the way the industry is geared for success.  For a seasoned affiliate marketer, there will also be informative portions of the program, as there is always something to be learned, but most of what is covered will already be second nature.  Therefore, the Super Affilliate Handbook is highly recommended for the affiliate marketer who is still relatively new to the industry, but not for the advanced affiliate marketer.
